A number of graves in the Lee Chapel Cemetery are either unmarked or marked with only a small fieldstone and ,therefore, are unidentified. The earliest known grave is 1885. Lee Chapel remains an active Cemetery; however, plots are available only to persons whose families are interred there or were a member of Lee Chapel Methodist Church. Lee Chapel’s graveyard maintenance and grave acquisition are administered by the Alexandria District Office of the United Methodist Church, 3600 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, Va.
